Marcus Slaughter

Marcus Anthony Slaughter (born March 18, 1985) is an American professional basketball player who plays for Darüşşafaka Doğuş of the Turkish Basketball Super League. Standing at , he plays at the center position. He completed his collegiate career playing for the San Diego State Aztecs.
==Professional career==
After going undrafted in the 2006 NBA draft, he signed a contract with the Turkish team Pınar Karşıyaka. He had a productive season with Karşıyaka, averaging 13.3 points, 10.1 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 2.3 steals per game. He was also named MVP of the 2007 Turkish All-Star game. Then he was signed a two-year contract with the Miami Heat in June 2007, but was released October 29, 2007.
For the 2007–08 season he has signed with the Israeli team Hapoel Jerusalem. After being released by Hepoel Jerusalem, he signed with BCM Gravelines Dunkerque of the French Pro A League .
In the 2008–09 season, he signed a one-year contract with the German club Eisbären Bremerhaven. In August 2009, he signed a one-year contract with SLUC Nancy of the French Pro A League.〔(Nancy inks Marcus Slaughter )〕

In July 2011, he signed a one-year contract with the German club Brose Baskets Bamberg.〔(Brose Baskets Bamberg lands Marcus Slaughter )〕 One year later, and after winning the 2011–12 German League and the German Cup, Slaughter came back to Spain and signed with Euroleague and Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid. In 2014–15 season, Real Madrid won the Euroleague, after defeating Olympiacos with 78–59 in the final game. Real Madrid eventually finished the season winning the Spanish championship, after 3–0 score in the final series against FC Barcelona. With that trophy, they have won the triple crown.
